Our work is guided by professional ethics and standards, appreciation for differences, and culturally informed clinical practices. Services include brief individual, group, and relationship counseling, consultation and crisis response, campus training, and workshops about coping with stress and other mental health topics.

The Counseling Center is accredited by the International Association of Counseling Services. The doctoral internship program through the Texas State University Counseling Center is accredited by the American Psychological Association and is a member of the Association of Psychology Postdoctoral and Internship Centers.
