28-Day Sleep Challenge

The 28-Day Sleep Challenge

Do you struggle to get enough sleep? Do anxious thoughts run races in your mind and keep you awake? Is the snooze button your best friend? Do you need a little structure to your sleep routine?

If you answered "Yes" to any of those questions, the Sleep Challenge could help!

Why? You'll learn how to…

  • Sleep better (and feel more rested in the mornings!)
  • Create a solid sleep routine
  • Develop healthier sleep habits

There is no cost to participate, and participation is voluntary.

Sleep Challenge FAQs

  • The Sleep Challenge lasts for 28 days, which is a total of four weeks.

Each week is Monday - Sunday.

  • Kick-Off Meeting

To kick things off, we'll meet on the first day of the Challenge to take a look at the workbook and answer questions. The workbook is not difficult but at first glance, it can seem a little tedious. So, we're going to take a look at each page so you're comfortable with it and can easily track your sleep.

    Additional (Optional) Meetings

In addition to the kick-off, there are two other optional zoom check-in meetings scheduled during the challenge: after week 1, and after week 3. Although these meetings are optional, it's a chance to get any additional questions answered.

If you have no questions or concerns, great! But if you do, these meetings can help.

  • The tracking workbook is a PDF that you will need to download. Once downloaded, you can print it or, if you have Adobe that allows you to edit/write on a PDF, you can fill it out without printing.

    Daily

Enter times related to the previous night's sleep into the workbook (takes about 2-5 minutes; It's usually best to do this in the morning while the night is still fresh in your mind).

    Weekly

Enter certain information into an online form (takes about 5 minutes, once a week; the information you'll enter is taken from your workbook). Once the information is entered, your weekly averages are automatically calculated. You'll use those averages to make modifications to your sleep schedule.

If this sounds confusing, don't worry - we go over it with you in the meetings (see previous question).

  • All content, instructions, and workbooks are in the Sleep Challenge Canvas course. You will receive an email invitiation to the course within 24-hours of registering for the Challenge.

  • During the Sleep Challenge you'll receive two emails each week. They will be sent to your TXST email.

Mondays - You'll receive an email when the module for that week (including the workbook) is available.

Thursdays - You'll receive the mid-week email when an additional article for the week is available.

  • That's easy! Complete the workbooks and online forms for all four weeks.

The workbooks are yours - no one sees those but you. But information from each week's workbook is entered into the weekly online form.
